Wow, this is a prime piece of artwork, it must completely transform your collection. Classic Chiang style, it's a major cover from a series and expanded universe that is sure to be the next huge thing! Great piece.

I'm quite envious - this was a standout piece from the drop for me as well and it was the first request I sent. Congrats - this beautifully exemplifies the sheer awesomeness that DDubs is going to bring to the series. Love it!

I love that it has the look and feel of a vintage Transformers cover! What a fun blast from the past. Makes me happy to see the future of the franchise has a strong all-spark again. The 8 year old me knows well how much fun you must've had with that recreation ;) Call back to childhood, watching the cartoons, reading the comics with our toys out playing along. Congratulations Marcus, you've got yourself a fantastic time machine.

I love this Transformers #1 cover! Cliff Chiang really killed it here! I love the dimension he created, with the jet almost flying off the page into the reader's lap. Love the addition of the van underneath. It's a great example of Chiang's phenomenal talent!

How can an artist be so immediately identifiable and also such a chameleon? Chiang is a true master and this is a grail of a piece.

WOW!!  This one puts the "MPH" in "OOOMPH!!"  Cliff shows that DWJ isn't the only one who can turn in gut punches of Autobot action here.  I love the ground-level camera POV which amplifies the peril of this battle crashing down, from a very real and human perspective (as well as the scale of the combatants).  And Optimus' non-nonsense attack is brutal and violent and just wicked!  Heavy metal! Really interesting choice on the published colors to set the scene during night; I feel the sense of danger may have been more amplified during the day (as more onlookers / travelers would potentially be exposed to the conflict)...?  And on top of all that, a cover image that can spawn a "cover version" via your gripping and dramatic re-enactment?  Yowza!  ROLL OUT, Marcus!! :)

This is more than meets the eye! Optimus battle! (Insert mechanized transforming sound here). He's got yer number, Star Scream. Love this, I t brings me right back to my youth and all my Transformers. The dino ones were my favorite. Followed by the wrecking bots. Prime!
