Large and impressive 20x30" Bainbridge board has oil painting original art by noted fantasy and comic book artist Dorian Cleavenger. Features image of a distressed Mermaid in the surf and chained to a post while foraging for food. Cleavenger is known for his many Mermaid images where the beautiful woman is merged with different kinds of aquatic animals. This piece features a Mako-like shark body. Sea birds in the background. Cleavenger has signed and added "'05" date at lower right. Exc. This piece is one of his more fleshed out, cover quality paintings.
