DescriptionDick Locher (1929-2017) was a fantastic talent. He began working with Chester Gould on Dick Tracy in the late 50's. He left to pursue other artistic interests including designing characters for McDonalds!Gould recommended him for an editorial cartoonist job at the Chicago Tribune where he eventually won a Pulitzer Prize! He returned to the Dick Tracy strip in 1983, either writing or drawing it till 2011. Social/Sharing |
