The DC Trinity by Matt Wagner

I really enjoy these small color illustrations by Matt. I have a bunch of them and while most of the ones I have are of characters I requested, a few are not. I tend to ask for more of the obscure characters of the DC Universe but that doesn't mean I don't like its main heroes. It's just I don't have to ask for them because I know they probably already exist. This one is a great example.

The big three by Matt Wagner. When Matt was working on Trinity I knew I was going to want a piece with all three characters, I just needed to wait for the right one to appear. This one showed up on eBay and it was the right price. Love how each character pops off the blue paper. Makes it more of a fun piece compared to the seriousness of the grey one.

Matt has a new project with artist Kelley Jones. A new graphic novel exploring the origin of Dracula written by Matt Wagner with art by Kelley Jones. The Kickstarter campaign is now live.

This one is a prized piece with the trinity and Wagner's full control of the color and the paper! He has to double his efforts to make sure the colors are smooth and slick in texture to overcome the base paper for Batman here.
