Description
From “The Far Reaching Tentacles of N'rygoth” Storyline comes this very silly page featuring one of their better Queens, Betty.

With this series finally coming to a close after a few volumes, specials and a final book - RAT QUEENS SISTERS WARRIORS QUEENS (came out Sept 2023, after a few years of nothing for the series), this is my tribute to what was really fun to honor this series. I came to know this series midway through vol #1 from my partner who introduced me to it and we both instantly fell in love with the idea and very powerful female characters, who had unique voices (created by Kurtis Wiebe and Roc Upchurch). Through vol #1 it held true to these characters and their voices (until the very end, when it went off the rails in #16 and lost its voice). Vol #2 took me a while to hear their voices (even having Wiebe writing the first half #1-15 again, it felt lost; then having Ryan Ferrier take over, issues #16-25, it was a hard transition but finally got a new voice). The original voices finally came back but in a fresh new light in that last final chapter that Wiebe came back to write and give the characters a final farewell.

This series has a lot of heart and this page doesn’t really express that side, but does show how silly or wild things got. This character, Betty, a fun-loving Smidgen thief, even though she may appear to be one-note, is deeper but this page shows her fun flirty wild side. It’s also a fun page to put up right before Halloween with Betty eating her date, Ms Candy. The absurdity in the dialogue and action really made the series fun. You never know what would come up or the outcomes or consequences of these actions.

It's so hard being a candy person in a rat world!

Fun page!  Have no idea about the story, but dig that character's expressions before the "CHOMP".  Reminds of those '80s Tootsie Roll commercials :)  Congrats!

Betty would be great to go trick or treating with. And separate topic. Why didn't anyone do the same thing to the gingerbread man?
