DescriptionI'm thrilled to add another Mitch Ballard Sketch Card to my collection. Ballard is something of a legend in the Sketch Card space and this card is another reason why.I was 15 when Captain America #230 came out and was blown away by Ron Wilson's cover... as was everyone else I knew. Wilson is an underrated Bronze Age great, and I especially appreciate some of his classic covers. This one, Thor 229 (used for a Mead binder), and Human Torch 7 (with the Sub-Mariner) always come to mind. On the small space of a Sketch Card, Ballard absolutely nails this recreation. Really nice that the Hulk manages to squeeze Cap and bury him into the wall. And maybe punch him out the right side of the card!
