Micky Maus Magazin #36 Donald Duck Basketball-Themed Cover Illustration Original Art by Ray Nicholson (Walt Disney, 2003). Donald continues to have "duck luck," even when shooting a few hoops, in this German Disney magazine cover illustration. It's by Dutch cartoonist Ray Nicholson, who has served as the official Micky Maus Magazin cover artist since 1990. This is a superb large image in ink on Bristol board, with Donald drawn on a separate piece of board and pasted in place. The matted image nicely fills the aperture area of 8.25" x 13.25"; the overall mat size is 13.25" x 18". I have a color print of the published cover for comparison. The art is hand-signed by the artist and is in Very Good condition with minor handling wear.
