DescriptionA true hero rescues those in need.So maybe I'm the hero today, for rescuing this poor, unwanted commission in the aftermath of the great NYCC 2023 ConCovid Attack. A Scalera has been on the hit list for quite a while, and I'm thrilled to finally put a tick next to that box. This joyous, beautifully executed webster swung right into my heart. A fitting tribute to NYC and its greatest hero. Thanks to JayDubs for the assist! He's batting a thousand! Web-up your own Spidey masterpiece on this evening as Jiggy and the Crew mix up a Spider-Spectacular with Billy 'Thwip' Cox this evening on Comic Art Live at 9pm EST! Social/Sharing |

That is a VERY nice rendering. I love how the details and blacks fade as the distance increases. Great tones. Great piece. Congrats!

Really digging the detail in the skyline, the spiraling trail of the webs, the little birds making their way along and how everything dissolves into a haze, like a foggy morning. Excellent Spidey web swinging shot as well. Very cool piece, congrats!

As as an avid birder, I question where my camera focus would go if I were on those city streets. The world may never know. Amazingly beautiful piece and congrats!

Matteo Scalera's full figure commissions are always of such high quality. Marvel, please give this man a Spidey title to draw!

Just to save you
Ooh-ooh-ooh (yo)
I'd give my Cox
Hey
Just to save you, I'd give call Jiggy (call Jiggy)
I can hear you streamin' out, callin' me (callin' me)
It's my fault, made you draw Spidey (draw)
So, to save you, I'd give my Cox (my all)
Just to save you, I'd give call Jiggy (call Jiggy)
I can hear you streamin' out, callin' me (callin' me)
It's my fault, made you draw Spidey (draw for me)
So, to save you, I'd give my Cox (my all)
It fell to me, Matteo your web lines are tough
Webheads are webbin' you down, your swing lifts me up
It hurts me when you start to see my Cox (my flaws)
But just to claim you, he’d mask for all (all)
Short on line for you, I'd never cash enough (have enough)
When I saw on YouTube, I didn't plan on fallin' in love
Always there to wipe your tears, I hate you pay by wire
If you tell me to jump, I'll text you, "Remind”
I know sometimes it be hard for you to sell at booth (tell the truth)
But I go dough cookie Oreo to get to you (to you)
I'm not Matteolistic, but I got a thing for you
Treat the world like Bad Idea, I'll post a swing at you

The camera positioning along withthe foreshortening really give me a sense of the altitude, as if I'm right there flying along side him. Amazing commission!

Scalera always kills it on his commissions. Great perspective of Spidey swinging over the cityscape. Congrats on adding this to the collection.

Oh, yes! Love Scalera, abs he killed this Spidey dead. Little shocked someone wouldn't want this, but definitely your gain. ;) The depth and energy of damage are fantastic. Swinging High!

Way to go Matteo. That's the way Spidey fans love their web spinning, sky traveling, crime fighting web head. Our hero's not afraid of heights. Matteo is soaring above the limits of rampant artistic mediocrity, beyond great heights to display balls to the wall, God given talent. Bravo. Impressive!!
