The helmet is so big and chunky with a great deal of weight to it as well. When inked by Nowlan, you'll get that sense because of the different lineweights done in geometric precision.
Fantastic "themed" choice of commission and conversation, Doc, and CONGRATS on scoring a spot on Kevin's list! Beautiful exact linework counterpointed with just the right amount of "squiggle". :) It's always cool to walk out of a con with a new piece of art, but also leaving with a unique interaction with a favorite creator? Priceless. Congrats again, Doc!
