This double page spread is from an original story written by Harlan Ellison and drawn by Ken Steacy for the 1987 graphic novel "Night and the Enemy" which collected earlier adaptations by Steacy of Ellison's Earth vs Kyba short stories originally published in Epic Illustrated issues 4 ("Sleeping Dogs"), 6 ("Life Hutch"), and 11 ("Run for the Stars"). The artwork is signed by both Steacy and Ellison.
