DescriptionPaul Smith is near and dear to my heart… he drew my first X-men comic (175) … his original run on X-men is revered and very difficult to get pages from. In 1995 Smitty came back and did a fill in issue… as you can see from this DPS he hadn’t lost his artistic fastball! This DPS is an awesome microcosm of the things we love about Paul Smith… Jean and Scott in “civilian “ clothes showing the expressions and emotions Paul always brought to a page… Colossus in all his armored glory trying to save Magneto and of course Exodus and Holocaust doing battle above the X-men Soap opera! LolI am incredibly happy I was able to work a trade out for this from my good friend Michael! Thank you! Social/Sharing |

Wow! I remember when this issue hit the stands I hoped it would be the first of many more Paul Smith X-Men issues, even if just as a regular fill-in artist. That wasn't to be, which makes something like this even more incredible to have. Congrats!

A dream is from Smith the art makes
When it's that unique
In dreams you will lose your heartaches
Art barter the Smith for, you weep
Have faith in your dreams and someday
That Michael will come trade with you
No matter what your art is leaving
If you keep on believing
The dream of Paul Smith will come true

Awesome addition. Probably my favourite of your CAF updates this year. This was prime time X-Men for me. Lots happening here. The “TO BE CONTINUED!’ says it all! Congrats!

Yes, you're right, lots PS goodness in this one starting with the Scott and Jean in civvies image! 3 distinct sections all blending for some real X goodness. And the teaser for next issue! Congrats, man!

AMAZING! Really love this and very happy for you. Getting a Paul Smith X-Men page is a difficult task.
