Description
My first piece from Nir, ironically being posted last. A tribute to two Goya paintings - The Witches Sabbath and The Colossus. This is the kind of passion and creativity that absolutely electrifies the hobby for me. Thanks to Nir and Tatiana, as always.

Once again, your Galactus commission collection adds another fresh and exciting take on the character(s)!

Well thought out and executed piece.  It is really great to see these pieces being created that otherwise would never be realized.  The hobby is a better place because of them.

The flora on the bottom...whew.  Also cool how the Surfer is whipping around.  Great add to the Big G and SS collectio, M, congrats!

If Nir keeps on drawin', Levie's goin' on break
If Nir keeps at Norrin, Levie's goin' to make
When the heavy ate, I'll have no place to stay

Dreams of Levie taught me to keep no hope, Lord
Mean old Levie draws me to weep alone
Nir's got what it takes to make a Surfing man leave chrome dome
Oh well, oh well, oh well

Don't it make you feel bad
When you're pointin' to food that's my home
You don't know which way to go?
If Goya goin' down mouth
They got some work to chew
If you're going down like Oreos

A-ah, a-ah, a-ah

The piece is extraordinary on its own, but add in the Goya painting tributes, and you see it in an even more brilliant light.  I found it interesting to gradually 'pinch zoom' the image on my iPad to reveal all the detail (and tiny people!) below the towering figure of Galactus.  Stunning get!

Spectacular. Love the layered flowing transitions of density and texture from the top to the bottom.

Wonderful!  Love the Goya nods, and what a unique piece in any case.  Surprising there aren't more Galactus images with clouds depicted given his scale.

Fantastic! Love all the details in this piece. Especially the people bowing to Galactus in the foreground, give Galactus a great sense of scale in the image.

Wow, the inspiration from the Goya paintings really makes this unique. I mean I know Nir is already unique, but it adds such a level of depth when you apply it to Galactus and his herald. Nir Levie is a world eater.

Love the detail on this one, especially the small people worshipping at the bottom. Cool combo idea!
