The Lover's Gate

After the success of the first Hellfire Gala where the Mutants terraformed Mars, the Quiet Council started looking for their next big project that would benefit the mutant community. Emma Frost first came up with the idea of a dreaming room after a conversation with other telepaths on the island. They were concerned about some mutants becoming frustrated with Krakoa's new ways, customs & laws. Emma approached Forge with her dream room idea. He believed that he could develop this dream room in an alternate dimensional space where it could recreate that persons fantasy from their mind. Forge would need to use a Krakoa gate to send a person to that place. He would also need to include the DNA from certain mutants to help power & create a realistic fantasy experience once a person entered the room. The Island of Krakoa was asked & it approved of Forge making this new gate. At this point Mister Sinister was approached with Emma's dream room idea. He was able to provide Forge with the mutant DNA that he requested. Forge using some newer danger room tech with the DNA provided was then able to create a new gate & a dimensional pocket to use as the dreaming room.

Today I was approached by The White Queen & Forge about providing some mutant DNA I have acquired for some Quiet Council work. They wanted certain individuals DNA. They requested DNA from Pixie, Lady Mastermind, Mystique & the Stepford Cuckoos. Pixie's main power is teleportation, but she can create Pixie Dust. That dust can cause hallucinations & changes in a person's mood. She can also nullify magic. Lady Mastermind's powers creates Illusions with Psychosomatic effects, which makes her Illusions feel real. She can also brainwash her subject. The Stepford Cuckoos are a telepathic hive mind. They can control broadcasting of Illusions & have actual mind control powers. Mystique has shapeshifting abilities. When I asked what they were using this DNA for, I got some explanation about a Dreamers Gate or something. For some fun, I spliced in a few more mutants DNA with the others to help with this dreaming aspect. I added Persuasions' power to control a person through the use of her pheromones. This will make people extremely receptive to suggestion. I've also added Stacy X for her pheromone control as well. She secretes her own pheromones upon skin-to-skin contact, allowing her to stimulate body functions in other people. She can cause anything from adrenaline rushes to even sexual orgasms. I wonder if I should have told Emma or Forge that I added these powers as well? Oh well! Let the wet dreams begin.

It has been reported by some people who have approached the Love's Gate while it's being used, that they have seen naked images or Illusions of Mutants like Pixie or Lady Mastermind. These mutant's DNA was used in creating the gate. Forge has been informed of this side effect and he is looking into it. I wonder if those whose DNA was used in creating the gate are even aware of it?
