DescriptionI just added this stunning romance page from MARVEL'S 1972 - MY LOVE # 16. To me, this page epitomizes the romance art of the 1970s. Extremely well rendered by penceller Mike Sekowsky, and inked by Jack Abel. Our poor heroine is lamenting her heartbreak and tries to forget what she's done to Ted and Linda by escaping on a Caribbean cruise. Will this cure her broken heart? Sekowsky manages to capture the sun and fun of an entire vacation in a single panel, surrounded by her luxurious hair. Social/Sharing |
