8/17/75 was a Sunday. So maybe a different year? There is great storytelling within the simplicity of Unger's single panel strip. It draws your eye in the newspaper to have a quick laugh and one might have even overlooked the duo tone and fine line touches that Unger uses.
A truly organic feel to the line!
