CAPTAIN BRITAIN DRAWN BY RON WILSON. COLORED BY ME.

This was a pretty straight forward piece to color. And that was refreshing. This was also my first piece I colored with my new Ohuhu Alcohol Markers. Amazon had a sale on Black Friday and purchased a 200+ Marker set. The color range was drastically improved.

Well I noticed in coloring this Ron Wilson piece (That I purchased a couple years ago) that Ron made a slight error. I didn't notice it until I started coloring, but the Ears aren't in line with each other. They are about an inch off. This came into play with the lower part of the cowl and where it ends and the top piece starts. Also this design of Captain Britain is really a blend of many looks of the character. So I basically had to figure out what I wanted to do. I hope Ron and everyone else approve of the colors I went with. To be honest I'm not the biggest Captain Britain fan. I really liked how crisp and sharp the linework was. I really dug it. My Blank Background coloring still needs work. The streaking of the colors still stands out.

Pretty smooth colors for the figure itself and nice highlights on the hair. More choppy by design on the backgrounds for a nice contrast.
