DescriptionThis was just a pure impulse buy from the Aragones Cartoons FB page managed by Sergio's daughter. I've been wanting a Groo piece featuring Sergio's signature dragons, and then this piece was made available. While it is an underwater monster and not exactly a dragon, it is close enough and sort of scratches that dragon itch of mine (for now!). The extremely detailed sunken ship also called out to me. The size is also a bit larger than usual, being at 9" x 12". So I just jumped into this, making it my first purchase of 2023 as I am still in some sort of collecting hiatus. My next mission will be to digitally color this and add some cover dressing to make it an imaginary Groo issue. Then I will update this entry!**** UPDATE 1/5/2024 **** I just added a cover dressing featuring my digital coloring of this piece as an imaginary Dark Horse comic cover. Social/Sharing |
