DescriptionA couple days ago, I introduced you all to the Re-Possessor, a creepy monster from Limbo that was called forth from the ground by the Goblin Queen.This Re-Possessor (or Re-Po for short) has been tasked with gathering up demons who escaped from Limbo back in ASM vol 6 #18. The main targets are the Insidious Six, six demons who were transformed into bizarre versions of Spidey's greatest foes, including Doctor Octoball, who Spidey and Rek-Rap were fighting in the pages leading up to this two-page sequence you now see before you. In the first of these two pages, we see Spidey and Rek-Rap come across Re-Po in his unassuming human form (with Octoball's eyes surrounding him), the scared reaction of Doctor Octoball, and then the monster exploding Aliens-style from the weird human's chest. Then you get a glorious full-page splash of Re-Po ... well ... DEVOURING Doctor Octoball. I I love that great reaction shot of Rek-Rap. Yup, so much wonderful craziness in this issue. More pages to come, where we see that Re-Po isn't ONLY interested in the Insidious Six. Social/Sharing |

NOT a wrap on Rek-Rap! Really, Rek-Rap eturing for rounds 'n' rounds, raaaa!! OK, stretched with the alliteration there but I was inspired :) Super fun storytelling leading up to the splash, crazy quirky bad...um...eating crazy quicky bad. Wackiness, and I dig it - bring it on! Congrats, Paul!

Oh yeah, baby! I'm SO happy to see Marvel finally getting rid of the goody two-shoes act and showing adult content in mainstream comics only adults read anyway. How cool is it to see Re-Po actually balling Doctor Octoball??? But then again, how can anyone resist a guy whose very name reveals he has eight testicles?!? And as a bonus? More Rek-Rap!

Burned balls...No!... This is worse than what happened to Daniel Craig in Casino Royale. Wait a minute. It's okay when it's Octoballs. It's only painful for pairs. Ah, adult humour. These are nicely drawn pages.
