Love it, man!  That blue line work must look that much better in person, and the red provides a nice contrast.   A reminder I need to get my own Derrington!  Congrats!

Honestly, it really doesn't matter -what- Derington draws in his positively enchanting "pencil style" - I always love it.  But marry that style to a favorite character and you have something really, REALLY special.  Such is the case here - beautiful work! - and (like Marcus said) I love Ben's big ol' heart here.  CONGRATS on grabbing a rock solid Snorek piece from one of Felix's drops!  What a beauty, Chris!

Wow! Wow! Wow! I love Nick Derington's pencil work. He manages to use pencil in a way that not only creates depth and weight to his characters, but also heart. This illustration of the Thing is absolutely stunning. Nick's pencils here make me feel the Thing's surprise and wonderment. I love the contrast between the blue pencil lines and the red--I wish comic books would sometimes be printed with this kind of unique technique. Not everything needs to be painted in full color! Anyway, many congrats on picking up a real beauty!
