Description

One of my newest covers, this time featuring an early 90's Sabertooth for the new Sabertooth Wars storyline being featured in the Wolverine series (issue #42 in the case of this particular cover). Editorial wanted something that reminiscent of early 90's trading card art/pinup art. I also had a classic Bill Sienkiewicz Wolverine pinup in the back of my mind when approaching this composition, which I am including here in the supplemental images. Hope you like!

Great Sabretooth image! And yeah, harkens back to that classic 1991 Wolverine/Sabretooth battle in the storm drain from Wolverine #41 & #42.
