Description
Been waiting for the right Kirby page for a while and finally scored. Gotta love the dynamic nature and sound effects. I always loved that King Kirby started his work with DC Comics on Jimmy Olsen

Fantastic! Congrats on getting yourself a Kirby Superman example, Matthew! Great images and an interesting observation I find is that the inking on Jimmy's head in the 1st panel and Superman's body in the 3rd panel looks a lot like Murphy Anderson's work. Great page, I should consider getting myself one, too!

Thanks. That makes sense since Murphy was known to redraw all Kirby's faces during his run to match the classic house style. I believe it's fairly rare to have a Superman Kirby face actually drawn by the king himself

This is a 'Super' page!  I remember buying this issue of the stands.  I was totally into what Jack was doing with Jimmy and linking his title to the Fourth World epic

Pretty fun Fourth World Kirby piece!  You can feel it's full of power with Superman's strength being tested!  That leap at the end explains the pure greatness of what made Kirby King for all those years!

Wow! Great page from a title that was revitalized by Kirby and where his 4th world opus began. Congrats!

Beautiful page! Easily Jimmy Olsen's finest hour! Kirby blazes his way and leaves with thunder and fury!
