DescriptionLarge piece on artboard produced in the 1960s in the UK. The image shown here is slightly blurred & with the right edge cropped off as the artboard was too large for my A3 scanner. Slightly better detail can be seen in the additional images.Well drawn piece, maybe a little like 'Bill Ward' in style? It is signed 'Peter Price' (or something that looks like that). There was a UK artist with this name (Peter Price, 1935–2003) but he seems to have produced mainly traditional seaside scenes in oil, so I am not sure if this is the same person. The title 'High Morale' has been added using Letraset and is starting to wear away. Social/Sharing |
