DescriptionSteven Cummings, who's based out of Japan broke out into comics in the early 2000’s with Green Lantern for DC and has since been pretty busy. Marvel tapped Cummings to work on several Star Wars titles the last few years doing both interiors and covers. We made the deal for his Mando cover during the summer last year and since I was traveling to Japan a few months later, I decided to pick up the artwork in person. It was great meeting Steven. We met at a small cafe just outside Tokyo to make the exchange and ended up chatting away for a couple of hours. He’s such a nice guy.Social/Sharing |

Wow! What an stunning cover for the Mandalorian #1!!! Gorgeous art by Steven Cummings! I love that Steven included the Mandalorian's space craft as well as little Grogu in his floating capsule. And how cool that you were actually able to pick up the art directly from Steven in Japan. Great pick-up, congrats!

Totally channels the show! Always loved the combo of the badassery of Mando vs the innocence of Grogu. Great inks here, and cool that you got both pencils and inks! Congrats!

Steven has done some fantastic work on this adaptation series as well as other modern Star Wars adaptation content for Marvel. Amazing to have the #1 cover, a bit jealous! congrats.
