On May 25, 1977, Star Wars made its theatrical debut. Six years later Return of the Jedi premiered on May 25, 1983. And although it had a Los Angeles premiere on May 10, the Solo film released nationwide in the USA on May 25, 2018. I enjoyed the Solo movie, I’m a cheap date with low film expectations. I especially enjoyed Emilia Clarke as Qi'ra. So, to celebrate 8 years since her introduction to that galaxy far, far away, I'm posting a page from Crimson Reign issue #5 "The Scarlett Queen."

Lady Qi'ra has used every tool at her disposal to generate chaos in the Galactic Empire, all to further her goal of eradicating the Sith. But as the final phase of Qi'ra's grand plan is revealed, she is about to learn a lesson that the Jedi Order also came to understand. Underestimate Emperor Palpatine and pay the price. On this page, Vader recounts to ol' Palpy his prior meeting with Qi'ra, when she was trying to auction off the frozen Han Solo, possibly because of how he treated her in the aforementioned film. Let’s just say there were aggressive negotiations between the Scarlett Queen and the Sith Lord.
