Description

At the first Original Art Expo (OAX), they had a 1.5hr free sketch period. The sketches were of the 2 minute type and were guaranteed if you had a sketch card (one provided with each ticket), but lots of the artists would draw the same type of sketch. There were extra sketch cards if folks wanted to pick them up.

In this case, I decided to approach Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti to draw headshots of Sugar and Spike on my sketch card. Amanda took on the challenge, but Jimmy demurred saying that he'd mess it up.

I approached Andy Fish to do Spike. He, like Amanda, did a bang up job.

Pretty cool for sketches of characters that they've never drawn before.
