Marcus To was illustrating Robin for DC Comics back in 2012. By the time Fan Expo rolled around that year, I was determined to come away with some of his art. But he wasn’t doing full commissions that year, his focus was on signing books and taking part in the panels the convention organizers had scheduled him for. But I persisted. I asked for his autograph, presenting him with a nice page of DC art paper. He’d figured what I was up to, and played along anyways. This charming sketch was the result!
