I had gotten this page from Steve. And a few years later he was asking about the page where it had the note "not so fast" at the top of the page. I didn't recall it. But some time after that, I was flipping through my Mannion art and discovered it.

Steve went for the really dramatic lettering on this page.

It seems like Steve needed a scan of the page so he could put out Secret of the Swamp.

This story features Fearless Dawn's little known sidekick, The Masked Kid.

Fearless Dawn and The Masked Kid were created by Steve Mannion.

I have always loved Steve's artwork. I also love his Fearless Dawn stories as well. Thanks for sharing this wonderful page!

A bit of Walk Kelly cartooning and line for the swamp look! Steve Mannion's art is a great throwback to the EC days as well when he draws monsters.
