DescriptionThis was sort of a pick up at OAX. I picked up this vertigo mini-series back when it came out. My comics reading had dropped off (along with most things) because I had two toddlers and work. I was more enamored with sleep than anything. :-). However, I wandered into a local comic book store to get my kids some Scobby Doo and kids comics and saw this series on the shelf about a crack squad of operatives that get called in when art gets out of hand. (usually leaves their painting or other medium and causes mischief. A bit of a crazy, fun, quirky ride with lots of easter eggs. (Mike Allred mentioned that the lead character is modeled after Joe Strummer from the Clash).So I got to meet with Mike and Laura Allred at OAX and tell them how much I loved this series. I think I may have been the only person that had ever mentioned this one to them. :-). Talked with Simon at Got Super Powers and picked up this family portrait! Social/Sharing |

Infinite fun! Really cool that Allred didn't cheat and use a mini stat.

It's always fun to pick up art from a series that barely anyone ever heard of but that you personally loved, like a special little gem for you. That it's an infinity cover is even cooler. You don't see those often!
