Description

This story concerns Gabriel "Vulcan" Summers, the Shi'ar-raised brother of Cyclops and Havok. Emperor D'Ken has been catatonic since the M'Krann Crystal incident back in X-Men #108. On page 12, Vulcan visits D'Ken's bedchamber/hospital, and a couple of pages later awakens the sleeping Emperor. Page 1 (presented here second) then shows D'Ken before his adoring public. Deathbird as always schemes how to turn her brother's return to her advantage, but Vulcan proves to have his own plan.

Henry and Morales were seated together at Orlando MegaCon 2024, which seemed like the ideal time to pick up the last four pages from this issue which Henry still had.

Palacial and majestic!  This set design may be the star of these two pages as they allow for all the story elements to fall into place.
