You're rising to the top of the list when I'm thinking about OAX OA hauls, man, and this one's got a lot to do with that.  Can't believe this was done at the show...looks like real rock on here!  That grin, the eyes, ALL them textured colors...a stunner.  Big congrats!

How in the world have I not posted a comment on this yet?!?  Eeshk - a revoltin' development if there ever was one...  This is absolutely -phenomenal-, Chris.  Simone's use of color elevates every piece he works on - it's one of his artistic Key Important Components - and it almost makes this piece all by itself; I love when an artist does more than just "oranges" Ben and calls it good, and the beautiful pallete here grounds the piece and shows so much variance; some slate grey, a little gravel orange, some marble red... and then there's that ice-cool baby blue twinkling away at you.  Stunning!  Amazing textures, and Ben's expression is so fantastic - you're not sure if all is good or you're in a world of trouble.  Simone proves here that during those three days he spent at OAX he wasn't on "island time"... he was officially on Clobberin' Time.  Sensational, Chris!  HUGE congrats!
