15”x26” (framed 26x37”) Painted in 1982; purchased 2024. I met Chris at IlluXCon in 2013 and he had this painting there and for one reason or another, I did not take her home. After Chris' passing and his daughters restarted the website, https://houseofachilleos.com/, I reached out to them earlier this year and asked if they still had the painting and were willing to sell it. They were so nice to work with and after I realized the preliminary sketch (attached) was also published in one of Chris’ art books and they said they had found it, well, now she has a new home. The artwork was originally published in the U.K. magazine, Men Only, but have not been able to identify which issue. The painting is published in Sirens and is also in his second card art series. The preliminary sketch is in the book, Medusa.
