Description
Published 1972
Demon Spawn
written by Marv Wolfman and Steve Skeates

The battle for Supergirl's mind is on as Nightflame's creature tries to overcome her resistance, while Geoff anchors her mind in the real world. Something has to give and it finally does!

Another very organic page by Sekowsky which perfectly suits the story.
There is a little chunk missing from the side of this page. One wonders what really happened to the pages from his story.

I've been weighing all Mike's lines of change
For thought waves to send you eye page
I see her fighting as she stimulates
It gets hard to take these rays

But we'll hold the mind, I won't let go
'Cause I'll be there when you can finally break his hold
Geoff don't mind 'cause the real world
That we'll be fine when Bob can finally ink it home

Because when art's in a room with you
That missing piece is found (oh)
You know when it's by the side, lost it
Nightflame can't bring us down (oh)

The cyclops an troll is so creepy! He freaked me out when I was a kid. The romance angle with Linda's boss Geof was dropped a few issues later.

Ooh, another one of these Sekowsky pages with the far looser and more expressive lines and with some great Supergirl action to boot!

Can't look past that ominous eye in the center of this page Miki.

"The landscape can take no more and erupts in a fantastic fury!"

Excellent page, and you do wonder the circumstances around that side damage? Doesn't detract from this though. Congrats!
