Description
I love the look of the Matriarch and stained glass on this piece. The lighting is very centering with beams of light pouring in through the archways. This was the opening page of Issue #22 and is a nice page where the Matriarch is introducing herself to Moondragon.

Just a great sequence of wide angle shots.  Love how the camera pulls back further with each frame.  But that closeup at the top is fantastic!

Here is art, Brad to be inked
She's the Matriarch of universe
Hennessy's strong, inking to survive
In a work that the artists powers
Heh
And here we are, she's the Matriarch of Universe
Here Moondragon, fighting for survival
We've come to be the rulers of you all

I am archrival, I have inside need bottled inks, yeah, yeah
I have no rival, Guardians see my levels
Archway to the picture of you all

Drawn to be inked, Matriarch of Universe
Find Hennessy
Got your world inked by hand
I'm here for your brush, Andy writes with Dan
We were drawn to the Matriarch of Universe

What a beautiful piece! I love the team of Walker/Hennessy! Every panel here has something to love, the first panel with its depiction of Matriarch, the second panel with all the background detail on the glass, and that third panel showing all the characters! Another great addition to your collection!

Kept this one in mind for a while, but had to get the main character pieces first. However, I visually enjoyed this piece for many of those reasons.

Wai, wait...What?! You'd never heard "Son of a Preacher Man" until 1994? Oh, right! I keep forgetting what a youngster you are!

Lol, keep going up a few years lol. I don't think my parents let me watch Pulp Fiction at age 11. Probably around 14-16 I am guessing, so 97-99. Young indeed!
