Description
Combined, my wife and I have done 20 marathons, so this is a fun piece for display that ties that together with OA.

Published in 21 DC books in Feb 1982.

The plot in this one is a little sketchy, and the mix-up of changing the villain's name to Dr. Sorcery (since he's not Dr. Alchemy...) was corrected in one panel but not the other. Oops. And let's just say it's not the greatest piece of art on it's own. But the dig on Barry Allen at the end not showing up at the finish line is pretty good.

Regret not buying this in 2019, but thanks to the seller who let me pay for my mistake in 2024.

The volunteers handing out chocolate cupcakes along the marathon route are integral!

Little chocolate donuts were Olympic Gold, go-fuel for John Belushi so it only makes sense that Hostess would be the marathon Cup Cake of Champions for the Flash ;)

Easy on the marathons. Have to leave time to lace up the blades.
