DescriptionVery stoked to add this page from an issue I read extensively as a kid. Nostalgia is a helluva drug.A pivotal moment of the Knightfall storyline where a crippled Bruce Wayne wheeled by Alfred, hands over the keys to the Bave-cave and everything in it to Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael who is all too eager to assume the mantle. He begins his tenure by immediately making some changes; under the influence of The System, a subconscious programming of the Order of St. Dumas; designs the draft of the gauntlets he will use as the first piece of his mecha “improvements” on the Bat-suit, with which he will eventually take on Bane and defeat him, barely. Classic Knightfall issue with Aparo art! The leadup to the milestone #500 where AzBats fully controls the mantle, or does he? Aparo would depart soon after, so you know he's giving his all.
