DescriptionQUICKSILVER - FAMILY TIES - X-MEN: TAS S4 Ep17 - around 16:35 time - aired May 4th 1996I am very x-cited to see this series continue forward it’s over a quarter-century later and so much good material to play with. Later this month we will start seeing the next chapter. This is a cell of a character named Pietro Maximoff, aka QUICKSILVER, played by Paul Haddad. This was in no way a main character of the series but is a great example of the various storylines and characters brought in from all over the Marvel universe. This episode specifically telling the story of familial relationships between Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Magneto. The X-Men we’re kings for their soap-opera drama and familial reveals this one being quite a fun one that in the comics and movies has been an on again, off again reality that Magneto is the father of these Mutant Twins. Not a main character which makes this cel of him even more rare! Gotta love that satanic panic types are already trying to spread fear about X-Men '97 meaning it's popular enough to get them scared!

The X-men animated series was great--it's nice to see you've collected a whole set of animation cells from it! Love this drawing of Quicksilver. Nice that you've also got the background painting for the cell--It really presents the animation cell better. There was so much work put into this series that it's great people like you are collecting the original art that was created to animate the stories. You've got a good one here. Congrats!
