Description

I was introduced to Ricci's work on a trip to Paris many years ago by my friend Arnaud. This led to me meeting Roberto and getting a fantastic commission from him based on his Blade Runner-esque comic series Urban. The art and storytelling are excellent and some of the best world building and graphics in comics. I have really liked the imagery of Ishrat that he created and was looking for a page from this book for some time. Here it is, a great example of what I like best including the main character Zack and Ishrat.

Has a great relaxed feel with character acting and expression that feels real..congrats!

Very cool storytelling on the page with a panels that mirror in pairs. A finger for a finger, a close up for a close up, etc. Ricci's wash and shading bring more realism to the cartooning facial expressions to show us their chemistry.

I always liked the commission he did for you, but yeah, this is really nice to see some storytelling from him and the gray tones really add a lot to the overall finish.
