"At every auction I draw a picture in which I try to capture a situation or moment that every comic collector knows: the feeling of scoring at an auction, the feeling of searching and chasing a newly discovered trail, finding, buying, exchanging, receiving, scavenge, or simply get lucky.
Here it is something that every fair visitor knows: back on the train, plenty of time to read the loot!

Franka at the station in Angoul�me...back to Amsterdam...now hours of reading time! Add a croissant, add coffee.
PS: among the extras see me and Karolien, also on the return journey.

Pretty nice showing a liberating scene of being able to travel once more as humanity bounes back and we can take these scenes for granted again.
