Description

This is my third Star Hawks strip. The second one was a two tiered one that was ghosted by Ernie Colon. It's a great strip. My first Star Hawks was the first OA I ever got. I bought it for 35 dollars when I was 15. I have not posted it because it is nicely framed and I have not put it up. But this one showed up at ComicLink and I am happy have it. It is not as dynamic as the two tier strips, but it is still Gil Kane and still wonderful.

The Gil Kane artwork in all its glory! He adapted to this line style for his more sophisticated projects that called for a more illustrated look. Even with all the geometry required, it looks like freehand art for that space ship design in the center.
