Description

One of my favorite stories from the 1980s, and this was used as the cover art of the Hero Discovered collection released by Image in 2004. It was a pleasure seeing Matt in OAX after not seeing him in any convention for almost a decade.

This was part of Jim Warden's personal collection, but he was nice enough to sell it to me in 2012 after my constant prodding. I had the pleasure of finally meeting Jim in person for the first time also in OAX, after many deals with him over the years. Truly one of the nicest people in the hobby. Thanks Jim!

Such an Iconic image - this is exactly the first image the comes to mind when I think of Mage.
