One of McCloud's most lasting works. A great page explaining how the comic page is storytelling with film cells. The legend on these pages shows in the water damage. Good thing condition looks to be stabilized.
Yeah, Scott has said he parted with most of these pages years ago, and you can fing a lot of them in archives with no damage. It seems a large number of them were collected in the last 10 years and all suffered a single accident. It honestly does give them a certain beauty though, but still it's gut-wrenching to see such a seminal work in this state
