Batman vs. Solomon Grundy by Kelley Jones

Grundy has always had a soft spot in my heart and Jones did a terrific job here to show the character as he is supposed to be. Batman is pretty intense too! Congrats!

Whoa!  How do you even get these from Jones?  That's sick!

I love that contrast of Bats in being strick black vs white block rendering vs the hatchiness of Grundy.  Great stuff!  Congrats!

Phenomenal! Love this Batman vs Solomon Grundy commission by Kelley Jones! What a spectacular drawing. I love how Batman is drawn all in sharp blacks and whites with no greys, while Grundy is drawn with lots of intricate crosshatching. Is there some kind of symbolism here where Batman sees everything in black and white, while Solomon Grundy is more in the grey area, not totally bad, but not good either. Anyway, the drawing is fabulous and totally worth putting on your wall. Amazing pick-up, congrats!
