Description

Gallery Note: This was used for a couple of publications. I bought this painting for the video game factor and decided to put it in this gallery for a reason.

Onto the information about this piece. First, it was a book called "The Burning Eye" by John F. Carr (along with a few others) and was the seventh book in Jerry Pournelle's WarWorld series. However, I have listed in Video Games due to it being the cover to the PC game "Operation Body Count". It was a first person shooter that was developed by Capstone Software.

The extreme camera angle is superior! It makes you think the troop transport and soldiers are on an incline. The pattern of the background planet is also tilted to give that illusion.
