You know I don't comment on Venom pieces, so of course you went out and found a loophole for me since this is technically a Cap cover. You sneaky bastard.

Wow, I can't believe it has already been 12 years since we first parted with this cover. Where does the time go?!?! Luckily it still packs as much of a punch as it did back in 2012. I love how perfectly balanced the blacks are on Venomized Cap and the background washes that serve to bring him forward are spectacular as well!

Red Skull is on the line talking to Carnage right as we speak! Done in that Perkins manner to have that wash ink background to pop the deep inked character right off the page!

A great cover from Perkins, and the contrast of the central figure against the pencil backgrounds is pure Perkins perfection.

Maybe he's got other symbiotes in those pouches?! IDK, but we could ALL use more pouches, right?! Nice depth to this one with the extra big right claw, and I like that contrast of greys in the background and...yes, the pouches...vs the traditional black inks on the figure. Fun stuff, Paul, congrats!

Whoa! Crazy cool Venom cover! A Venomized Captain America? Oh, man is the Red Skull in trouble! Gorgeous art by Mike Perkins! I love how he created so much depth in this one, with the background left in pencils and Venom/Cap crisply rendered in ink! And I love how that right arm seems to explode off the page! Fantastic pikc-up, Paul! Congrats!
