First Comics’ initial 12-issue miniseries from 1986 retold the events of “Knight.” Mike Baron did a creditable job adapting Moorcock’s original, and the art (pre-dating Hellboy) bears Mike’s unmistakeable flair successfully creates a visual geography well-suited to High Fantasy!

I've always loved the way Mignola draws animal characters. Super fun page from my favorite period of Mignola art.

Nice combo of artists. You can tell they both share a fondness for spot shadows and solid inks.
