Description

Not sure why, but I remember loving this issue as a kid. The fact that the aliens were pretending to be the other members of the Justice League to support Superman against Despero was a neat twist, and I loved how they used technology to attempt to imitate the powers of our heroes (like on this page, with Wonder Woman actually using a directional explosive to imitate Wonder Woman's strength.

Really inspiring stuff by Dillin and McLaughlin! I love seeing giant robots getting smashed! Wonder Woman in that panel 4 pose shows off a primal power that isn't graceful nor dainty you'd expect from women heroes.
