I'm always looking for more pieces by Jeff Moy to add to my collection, so I was thrilled when a bunch of these greytone sketch cards started popping up on eBay a few months ago! The first of the bunch is this fantastic Dawnstar, in the costume that Gary Frank designed for her. I think Jeff really captured the elegance she's always had about her, and he nailed all the components of Frank's fairly detailed costume design.

Really nice how Moy is able to squeeze in everything we need to see in the costume and even makes enough space to define the wings. He's even better than before with each iteration.
