Vampire bat, drinks human blood - 1950s projector slide art, ink and gouache.

These are ink and gouache artworks on paper attached to board. The text labels are printed and attached separately.

The board measures approx 32cm x 24cm (12.5 x 9.5 inches).

They were used for coloured slides for a particular type of projector in the UK in the early 1950s.

I particularly like the sensationalism with the Vampire bat - "Drinks human blood"!
The weirdly drawn Hyena is also good - "Noisy, scavenging flesh-eater".

I have no idea who the artist is unfortunately.
