Great story arc and cover! Incredible Halloween costume Andrew. You look super scary in silver.
Thanks, bud :) Who says April is too early for Halloween?
Love the poses! Ross is a modern genius!
Thanks! Yep, Ross is quite a special artist for sure!
This is such a big cover from an incredible run that just keeps getting more and more relevant!
Thank for the comment, Mike! Definitely on the same page for Secret Wars :)
Beautiful rendition of Doom by Ross. I still remember when he pulled a subzero on Thanos. Great piece
Finish Him!!! Haha. Thank you :)
Congrats Andrew! Beautiful!
Thank you, Nick! Much appreciated :)
That is crazy awesome! Congrats!
Thank you, Ian :)
Beautifully done. It was great hearing about the green and white changes to DOOM's suit and the hints of green in the reflections of his armor.
Thanks for the comment, George, and watching the interview!
Definitely a standout image from a great arc! And as a huge Doom fan, resonates that much more. So man different colors and hues to render the lighting and textures...Ross definitely did his thing here. Congrats, Andrew!
Thank you! Yeah, the colors on this really stand out in person. The image doesn't really do them justice. I was quite surprised when I finally got it in hand.
Fantastic!
Thanks, bud!
Wow! God Emperor Doom from Secret Wars #4 painted by the ultra-talented Alex Ross. What a stunning painting this is! Victor Von Doom, having gained more power than any living man before him is now a God. Love the way Ross painted this, with Doom's new all-silver outift, his cowl pulled down over his face. Even without showing his face, Ross was able to convey Victor's delight at his newly deified status. Everyone on Earth is at his command the only question is: What will he do with all this power? Superb pick-up, my sincerest congratulations.
Thanks, Bill! Always greatly appreciate your thoughtful comments :)
