Legends of the Dark Knight 200 p39

So generally I'm more about sci-fi/fantasy/horror than superheroes, but I always loved the Legends of the Dark Knight book. When I started back into reading comics in the 90's, many of the DC books were an artistic revelation to me, compared to the books I read as a kid in the early 80's. LOTDK did away with the borders. The art ran from edge to edge, and the colors went from dark and muted to bright an garish. The stories were story and self contained or running across a couple of issues. Always enjoyable.

So this page, later in the run? Well, it's the Joker being the Joker. Bart Sears's art has evolved into something quite different from the 90's, and I loved the pscychedlic feel of it.
